William Dunn serves as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lender at Guaranty Bank & Trust, where he develops and manages commercial banking relationships that drive growth for both his clients and the bank. He delivers tailored credit and depository solutions across a range of industries, including commercial real estate, equipment financing, and business lines of credit. William is committed to supporting local businesses, strengthening community connections, and expanding Guaranty’s presence throughout the markets he serves.
With more than a decade of experience in commercial lending, William brings a diverse financial and operational background to his role. Prior to this period, he worked as an oil and gas portfolio asset management consultant, a licensed financial advisor, and a project engineer for one of the largest commercial contractors in Texas with projects exceeding $500 million. This varied experience allows him to approach each client relationship with a strategic perspective on risk, structure, and long-term success.
William’s areas of expertise include commercial real estate lending, construction and development financing, and infrastructure and equipment funding. He is passionate about helping businesses grow, and takes pride in delivering financial solutions that contribute to economic development in the communities he serves.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science & Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Finance from The University of Texas at Dallas.
Dedicated to giving back, William volunteers through Grace Bible Church in Houston, Texas. Outside of the bank, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and living out his faith as a husband and father.
