Michele Barber is a Vice President – Marketing with emphasis in Business Development and Community Relations. She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BBA with studies in Business and Education. Michele has over 25 years of Bank Marketing experience with a strong history of community service. She is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and serves as a Past Board Chair, Economic Development Chair, a Leadership Denton Class of 2001 Co-Chair, and is an Economic Development Investor Relations Member. In addition, she currently serves on the Advisory Board of Serve Denton following 13 years with them in various positions as Board Chair, Capital Campaign Co-Chair, Executive Committee, Treasurer, and Governance & Risk Committee. Michele has served as the Treasurer of the Denton Business Prayer Breakfast for 21 years, along with prior participation on the Woman to Woman Resource Center as a Board Member and Treasurer, as well as an Advisor to the Capital Campaign planning for the Love First project managed by Giving Grace. She is an Advisor for the Texas A&M University at Texarkana, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and spends Friday nights as the Spotter for the Public Address Announcer during the Denton ISD football season.
