Kyle Ranostaj serves as Senior Vice President of Lending at Guaranty Bank & Trust, where he builds and manages a commercial loan portfolio and helps clients access the full range of banking services, including deposit accounts and Treasury Management solutions. He specializes in commercial and industrial (C&I) and commercial real estate (CRE) lending.
Kyle's career in banking began with an internship as a bank examiner with the Texas Department of Banking, giving him an early, regulator's-eye view of what makes a loan portfolio sound. He then worked as a credit analyst and advanced through increasing levels of responsibility, from senior credit analyst to Assistant Manager of the Credit Analyst team, and then into lending roles as Assistant Vice President, Vice President, and now Senior Vice President. That credit foundation shapes how he works with clients today: thorough underwriting, straightforward communication, and structures built to hold up over the life of the relationship.
He holds a double major Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and in Banking and Financial Institutions, and was named a 2019 scholarship recipient by both the Risk Management Association and the Texas Bankers Association.
Kyle is putting down roots in the Friendswood community and looks forward to getting involved locally. Outside the bank, most of his time is happily spent with his wife and their one-year-old daughter, and he squeezes in a round of golf whenever he can.
