With more than 18 years of banking experience, Chase Shumway has built his career around commercial lending, relationship management, and helping business owners reach their goals.

Chase is known for his relationship‑driven approach to banking. He values the opportunity to get to know business owners, learn how their companies began, understand what motivates them, and serve as a trusted advisor as they navigate growth, opportunities, and challenges. For Chase, banking has always been about people and never just transactions.

Originally from Utah, Chase and his wife recently relocated to the Denton area to be closer to family. Together, they are raising four children, three boys and one girl, and have quickly become part of the local community. His professional focus centers on building strong connections with business owners, community leaders, commercial real estate professionals, and others who contribute to making Denton a vibrant place to live and work.

Outside the office, Chase can often be found at a baseball or football field, cheering on or coaching one of his kids. With practices, games, tournaments, and family activities filling most weekends, life is rarely dull. When the family does find free time, they enjoy traveling and exploring new places and cultures.

Chase brings the same values to both his career and his home life: hard work, integrity, accountability, and showing up for people when they need you. He believes these qualities build strong families, strong businesses, and strong banking relationships which he strives to reflect every day.
