About Hallsville, TX

Established in 1913, Guaranty Bank & Trust is one of the oldest and most respected banks in Texas. We have achieved this success by providing the communities we serve with a different kind of bank. One that believes smart banking is about investing in people, not just credit scores; succeeding with the community, not at its expense; and having a plan for your growth, not just our own. We offer personal and business banking solutions, as well as Treasury Management and SBA Lending.

Terri Brown

Terri Brown, location manager of our Hallsville branch, is a longtime Marshall resident whose life and career have been shaped by dedicated community service. Her commitment to strengthening the place she calls home is evident throughout her years of public and volunteer leadership.
Terri served on the Marshall City Council from 2017 to 2021, including two years as Mayor from 2019 to 2021, where she worked closely with local families, organizations, and business owners to support community growth. Her passion for advancing Marshall’s business and agricultural sectors led to many years of service on both the Marshall Chamber of Commerce Board and the Agri Business Board.
Her heart for service continues today. Terri serves on the Advisory Board of the local Boys & Girls Club, is a longtime member of the Marshall Lions Club, and volunteers regularly with Mission Marshall, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to supporting youth and families across the community.
Terri and her husband, Ross, attend River Crossing Cowboy Church. Outside of their community involvement, they enjoy traveling to rodeos to watch their bucking stock perform.
