Jey Yancey

Jey Yancey is a dedicated community leader with a strong commitment to service, civic engagement, and youth development. An Eagle Scout and graduate of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with a degree in Finance, Jey built a distinguished record of leadership across numerous organizations. He was an active member of Rotary from 2011 to 2026, serving as President in 2015 and contributing in key roles including RYLA Chairman, Treasurer, Flag Chairman, and Paul Harris Fellow. Jey is also a graduate of the Mount Pleasant Chamber Leadership program and served on the Chamber Board in several capacities, including Tourism Chairman, Total Resource Campaign Chairman, and Ambassador.

Jey remains deeply involved in organizations that strengthen his community. He served on the Main Street Board, including as President in 2024, and on the Mount Pleasant Country Club Board, where he served as President in 2023. He is a passionate advocate for conservation, serving as President of both Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl, where he led from 2015 to 2026 and was recognized as a National Member of the Year nominee. Additionally, Jey served on the Cypress Basin Hospice Board as Treasurer and Vice President. He is also pursuing continued professional development through the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at SMU, serving as Class of 2027 Vice President.

Outside of his professional and civic involvement, Jey is a devoted husband and father of two. A man of strong faith, he enjoys spending time outdoors—especially duck hunting—and is passionate about investing in others through coaching youth sports, including soccer, football, and baseball. He values family, community, and the opportunity to give back.
