Do I need to notify you if I will be traveling?

  • Yes. We have some rules and restrictions on States and Countries. You may get a potential denial if you go out of town. To prevent getting denied while out of town, here are a few steps for a travel Notice.
  • You will need to either call us at 1-800-572-9881, go into a location or send a message through Online Banking. You should state, all the places you will be going to, the dates of travel and your mode of transportation.

I am out of town and need cash. Where can I find a surcharge-free ATM?

  • Guaranty Bank & Trust is part of the Allpoint ATM network which gives you access to surcharge-free ATMs worldwide. Head over to www.gnty.com and use our ATM locator to find an Allpoint ATM near you.

What happens if I try to withdraw more money than I have in my account?

  • If your account is opted-in, you will be able to withdrawal your account into the negative up to your overdraft limit. If your account is not opted-in, your transaction will not be approved and you will not be able to withdraw more funds than you have available.

I am locked out of the phone plus service how can I get back in.

  • After three failed attempts, the phone plus system will lock your account. Please call us at 1-800-572-9881 so we can reset your account.

Is there a fee for sending and receiving wires?

  • Yes, there are fees for sending and receiving wires. The fee amount is also different for domestic and international wires. Chat with us online or call us at 1-888-572-9881for our current fees.

What do I need to receive a wire?

  • You will need to provide the sending bank with your routing number, which is 111915327, your name and your account number.

How can I get a freeze released?

  • You will need to contact the agency that sent the freeze. The freeze can be released when the agency sends a release request to the bank. You may be required to pay what is owed to the agency before we release the hold.

  • You will need to contact the IRS or state agency for more information. Please call us 1-800-572-9881 and speak to Deposit Operations to get the phone number of the agency.
